And So Goes The New Year...

Happy 2008! Seems we were just celebrating the millenium (or something close to it), and it's already eight years later. Ah well, can't stop time. Things are going very well. Kids are back in school after a lucrative Christmas break. I played in a Fire/Police hockey tournament sponsored by the San Jose Sharks, and we got to play with some of the Sharks alumni players. That was a blash, and I can officially say I have been scored upon by an (ex) NHL player. Jeff Norton, Jamie Baker and Dave Mailey were a few of the ex-Sharks who joined our teams, and what a classy bunch of guys. We got to play at HP Pavilion for a game, and I got to meet a few Toronto Maple Leaf players then too...all in all a great hockey weekend.

Other than that, nothing major to report. Work has been busy, and we're getting over the sudden, untimely death of Michael O'Rourke. A good life taken WAY too early. Rest in peace Michael.
