Sunday night ramblings...

So, my back still aches a bit. Makes it hard to really get around and do stuff. Heading off Tuesday for Bass Lake with the in-law family. Not really the best spending of PTO time, but oh well. Thankfully there's a town not too far away and the grocery stores there sell beer. My brother-in-law from Missouri will be here too. He's a cop back there, and has the same skewed sense of humor I do. We get along great. So...I'll write more when I get back.

Wish me luck.

Wait...I think I'll stick around a bit.

So, you know that woman from Vacaville who's son was killed over in Iraq. She goes to Crawford, Texas to try and meet with President DumbAss and talk with him about the war and stuff. DipShitDubya doesn't even have the rocks to stop and meet with her. All these brave Americans who've died for our country over there. I think DumbAss's daughters should be drafted to the Middle East. Let's just see how fast the troop withdrawals would begin after that, huh?

There was an Air Force Master Sgt. from Vallejo who was killed over there on 02/10/2004. His name was Jude C. Mariano. Left a beautiful wife and wonderful little kids. I bought a memorial bracelet from herobracelets.org to honor and carry on his name. I think everyone should honor a war victim in this manner too. Too many names to just let them drift off...go get one. It's only a few dollars to honor someone who gave his or her life for us.

Would you do the same for them?
