Back to school!

School starts again!

It's been an eventful couple of days. Madeline and Ethan went to the dentist for the first time yesterday, and as luck would have it Ethan had five (!!!) cavities, and needed one of his molars removed. Madeline fared better; she had no cavities, but we spent the morning trying to get one of her many doctors to call in a prescription for prophylactic antibiotics. Since she has a heart condition, she needs to take antibiotics as a precaution before any dental visit, so she doesn't get bacterial endocarditis. We finally got the meds an hour before her appointment, so it all worked out well.

Today the kids started school, and Madeline loved her first day as a Kindergartner. Ethan was less thrilled as a second grader, but he had fun too. The best part of all this is I HAVE MY MORNINGS FREE AGAIN! :)

Think I'm happy about that?
